Tools

Small tools we needed, so you can have them too.

Single-purpose, in the browser, free. A QR code generator today, with a link shortener and a safe way to send a file or a secret on the way.

What's in the box

  1. Live now

    QR Code Generator

A clean, styled code for any link or text, with your logo in the middle if you like, downloaded as a PNG for the flyer or the last slide. It is made entirely in your browser; nothing is uploaded anywhere.

  2. Private alpha

    URL Shortener

Short shatu.de links. Behind a passcode for now: shorteners are a favourite of phishers, so it stays small until it can tell a friend from a fraud.

  3. On the way

    Secure Files & Messages

Send a file or a secret that expires on its own and that the person receiving it can destroy. Planned, not built.

What it costs

Nothing. The tools are free, with no ads, no subscription and no account. They are things we needed, so why not share them?

Shatuga is a very small company. Here's Mars, the person behind it, in case you want to put a face to the otter.

Put a code on the flyer.

Your group scans it and lands on your chooser. Thirty seconds, start to finish.
